gasboiler maintenance costs

#1 , 23 jan 2017 17:22

Hello,

sorry for English, I hope it's okay.

I'm changing apartment and had the gas boiler checked (on my costs through a contract with ENI).
Is this something I need to pay personally or can I ask a refund from the landlord?

Also, the boiler has never been checked at least the last 10 years according to the technician. If I need to pay, and the costs get high because of lack of previous maintancen, is there anything I can do?

Dank u!

check your contract. normally you will have to do a check up of your boiler every 2 years. This is a cost for you.
You will have to pay for normal check ups. When the boiler is broken, the costs are normally for the landlord, unless the damage is caused by you.
