Wegens vertraging met de vlucht van BXL - MADRID, hebben wij onze vlucht (zelfde luchtvaartmaatschappij) gemist. We hebben een hotel gekregen maar hierdoor wel een dag minder vakantie gehad.
Er werd ons geadviseerd om de rechten van de reiziger in acht te nemen.
Ik heb dus volgend gestuurd naar de maatschappij
Ik kreeg een auto-reply waarin ze vertelden binnen 21 dagen te antwoorden, dit gebeurde niet. Vandaag op hun facebook pagina geklaagd, ineens meteen antwoord.Hi,
On 23 may we had a flight from Brussels to Madrid, with a connecting flight to New York (JFK) (IB 6253).
We were 3 people
Because of the delay of the flight we missed our connection and had to wait a day.
According to the European Union’s Regulation EG 261/2004 we have the right to a compensation of 600€ per person for a delayed flight of over 3,500 km.
Not only did we had a day less holiday, but also had to pay the night for NY which we did not spend.
On top of this, we asked for other seats, which we had paid for and because of the missed connection, didn't enjoy.
We would like to be refunded.

Whenever an incident occurs during a departure that causes a delay of more than time established by the current legislation, we provide you with the information we have at hand and the necessary assistance.
