Good morning, We have entered into a contract with x company for a holiday in Mexico. The offer presented on the website presents a 5-star hotel and a 9-day stay. Since it was supposed to be our first long vacation, because the flight itself plus transfer was 2 days, we wanted the offer to last at least 9 days. After signing the contract, we found out that the terms of the offer were not met. The hotel on the tui website is 4-star and the e-mail sent will confirm the departure for 8 days, not 9. The dates on the website are correct, but the service provider deliberately misinterprets the departure that it is 9 days. However, after the conversion it is 8 days, we asked for a cancellation, however, we are required to pay a penalty of 50%. Additionally, these beaches in Mexico are now attacked by algae that the locals cannot deal with
Of course, this information was not included on the site. We found out about it by accident from friends. We feel very cheated and under pressure. Do we have the option of free cancellation? How much is a letter prepared by you. All the best Mateusz
